Hämeenlinna regional public transport uses the Waltti ticket system in which the cost of a journey is based on the zones the passenger travels in. A ticket has to be bought covering the zones you plan to travel in or through. When you buy a ticket on the bus, it is enough that you tell the driver what your destination is. The zones can also be seen in the Route planner.

The zones in the Hämeenlinna region:

• Zone A covers the central Hämeenlinna area
• Zone B covers area around central Hämeenlinna as well as the communities of Parola, Turenki, Renkon and Eteläinen
• Zone C covers the rest of the Hämeenlinna region to the borders of the municiplaity.
